Jordan Conwell, in this presentation for the Stone Center’s 2020 “Inequality by the Numbers” virtual workshop, presents an overview of inequality in educational achievement and attainment, with a focus on multiple drivers of educational inequality – including income, wealth, parental education, and race. He closes with reflections on the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on educational inequality. Conwell is a faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin.
