Sara Feinstein is in her second year in the Ph.D. Program in Sociology at the Graduate Center. She is broadly interested in the ways that digital technologies relate to social inequalities. Her current project uses longitudinal survey data to examine the connections between different types of technology use in childhood and adolescence and social mobility outcomes in adulthood. Feinstein has a BA in Sociology from Emory University and an MA in the social sciences from the University of Chicago. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program, she worked as a market researcher.
