Malak Harb (she/her) is a Ph.D. student in the Program in Political Science, specializing in international relations and comparative politics. Drawing on her background in human rights and international law, she focuses her research on asylum policies, migration governance, judicial politics, and access to justice. Prior to starting her Ph.D., Harb worked for five years with international nongovernmental organizations in the humanitarian sector, assisting refugees and vulnerable populations. She holds a BA in public administration from the American University of Beirut, an MA in human rights from the Central European University, and an LL.M. in European and international law from Saarland University.
