Swapnil Landge is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the Graduate Center, specializing in intergenerational occupational mobility, income inequality, labor economics, and applied microeconomics. His research leverages econometric and machine learning methods to analyze how parental occupations shape children’s career choices and contribute to income inequality, with a focus on self-selection models. Landge is also an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College and Brooklyn College, where he teaches undergraduate economics courses. He holds an MS in econometrics and quantitative economics from the University at Buffalo, an MBA in Operations Management, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Before beginning his Ph.D. studies, he worked as a project manager in a multinational organization.
