Postdoctoral Scholar (2019–2021)/GC Wealth Project 

Marco Ranaldi studies the features and dynamics of modern capitalism, through the lens of distributional analysis. His research interests lie at the intersection between economic inequality and political economy, with a focus on inequality measurement and the comparative analysis of economic systems.

Ranaldi is currently an assistant professor in Economics at University College London SSEES, a visiting fellow at the International Inequality Institute of the London School of Economics, and an associated researcher with the GC Wealth Project.
