Michael Kraus, in this presentation for the Stone Center’s 2020 “Inequality by the Numbers” virtual workshop, examines the social psychological underpinnings of beliefs about inequality and related policy preferences. He focuses in particular on the consequences of overestimating progress toward racial equality over the past 50 years in the United States. Kraus is a faculty member at Yale University.
